What's up everyone! :)
I am loving it here in Jardim Califórnia in the city of Sorocaba. Me and Elder King are finding great people to teach and the Lord is making miracles happen before us. :)
This week we had the opportunity to help Luis and Giane's family in their move to a different house. Serving others is the most effective way to show you love them. Even though it took a few hours away from our proselyting time, we reached out to someone who was needing and perhaps strengthened their testimony of the church and the brotherly spirit that reigns in it. :)

We have been teaching this gorgeous family all week and also helping their son, Kaik, to be baptised. Luis and Giane accepted to go and get married this Wednesday which is very exciting! At his baptism on Sunday, Luis did an incredible closing prayer and thanked God that he had found the true church of Jesus Christ and that his family was entering through the baptism. The spirit confirmed that testimony in everyone's hearts and we all knew Luis was speaking sincerely and with certainty. This week we will baptise their other daughter, Maria Clara and in around 30 days when their wedding is done officially it'll be their turn! :) In some ways, Kaik is being a little pioneer for his family by being baptised first. They are already seeing the many blessings of this righteous decision.

We have also been teaching Vanessa's family all week and despite some difficulties we came across teaching them, in the end it all worked out. Julia and João got baptised and are now one step closer to entering the Lord's kingdom. :) The oldest brother Vinicius keeps saying no to baptism but he felt the spirit that night and I'm sure he will follow suit soon. :)

Curious fact: I completed the Rio 2016 olympic coin collection! What an awesome souvenir to take back to good ol' England! :D
