Hi everyone!

I have almost no time to write today as I have used up all of it writing my UCAS statement. Classic Diego leaving everything til the last second. So let me list the main events!

This week we had the baptism of little Sofia! She is the youngest sister of our recent-converts, Brendon and Liliana. She was baptised on the day she turned 8 so we threw her a little birthday party also! She is the cutest little girl and shed a few tears when I said goodbye to her this week.

I had the chance to do a division with Elder Pereira, one of my mission office companions, in the area of Jardim São Paulo. Among the elect people we found, we happened to have lunch at the Siano family. Remember Elder Siano who passed in Ipswich? I saw a picture of him and I couldn't believe it! The "mormon world" is SO small! The division was good and we had a wonderful discussion about the Restoration with a young man, the spirit testified of our words! Elder Pereira is awesome! And of course, no division is complete without a pizza!

We also had the blessing of baptising the Carvalho family: Rafael, Paula and their son Rafael Henrique. They came back from their Christmas holiday so firm to be baptised, me and Elder King were surprised! They are keeping the commandments, reading the Book of Mormon and their countenances have gained more light and joy as we have returned day after day. We have to thank Ederson, Rafael's brother, for giving us this reference and driving us out every day. It's been a great missionary experience for us and them!

This Sunday we received our transfer and I will be leaving Jardim Califórnia to go to Jardim São Paulo, which is also in the city of Sorocaba. I will be Elder Braga's companion and we will both be both zone leaders in the Sorocaba Zone.

I'll give you more updates next week!

Love y'all!

Elder Torres

PS: I'll miss you Elder King!! :'(
