Hello everyone!
What a great week it was! I'm super happy to say that last Sunday we had Rodrigo's baptism, the young man I told you about last week! He was super happy to be baptised and a lot of people stayed behind to support him. His big brother Gabriel was there too and he is being baptised tomorrow! Their mother has a lunch break from 12 to 4pm and will be able to watch his baptism. I'm super excited! Please pray that it will work out!
Here is a picture of his baptism:

We gave him a Book of Mormon and he has been reading it everyday. The other day we got to his house a bit late and everyone was laying down watching some TV except Rodrigo. He was laying down reading his Book of Mormon, he's gotten to Jacob already! :D
This week we saw lots of miracles happen, the Lord is really blessing the area Horto Florestal. We were walking to meet one of our investigators one day when my companion, Elder A. Oliveira, remembered a boy we had met on the street. We changed our plans and went there as soon as he said that. We got there and it was a massive blue house.
We knocked and we didn't find Victor home. There were two girls there too, so we spoke to them and invited them to church and for baptism. They all accepted! Their names were Camile and Yasmin. We then asked about their family and they all happened to live in the big blue house (it's actually several houses but we call it "the blue house"). The next day we went back to talk to Camille and her dad started making excuses as to why he wanted to wait a bit to let his daughter be baptised. Just as he began trying to politely dismiss us, it started chucking it down with rain. Well, that blessed rain made him invite us in and we ended up having an amazing lesson about the Restoration. As it turns out, he had been reading the pamphlets we left with his daughter and was even learning more on mormon.org. When we left, with the spirit levels high, there was no rain. None at all!
We then talked to another girl who was in the blue house whose name is Thaina. We chatted a little bit and found out she is one of 10 children!!! :O She was super up for going to church and being baptised. We asked her where she lived and she pointed a few metres down the road to the big yellow house. We went there the next day and found her mum, Maria Roseli. She had talked a lot to missionaries way back and was really needing a prayer. When we talked about church and baptism she was super excited and more importantly committed. She signed all of the authorisation forms for her children with baptism age and said they will be there tomorrow in church. We kneeled down to pray and she gave a beautiful and honest prayer. She apologised for not speaking lots of words but we explained that a prayer from the heart is what God wants. :)
So now our new focus area is basically 2 houses, the blue and yellow houses. Please pray that these people will be there tomorrow morning in Stake Conference. President Farnes is speaking and without a doubt it will be a spiritual feast.
I love you and miss you all!!
